The cordless traverse rod is composed of an inner rod and outer rod, since they are telescoping. The inner insert will fit onto the inner rod and the outer insert will fit onto the outer rod.

28-48" and 48-86" sizes - use one IN + OUT insert
86-120" and 110-156" sizes - use two OUT inserts

Quality product, excellent customer service

Already had multiples of Desyne cordless traverse rods, happy with them for years. They work smoothly, are easy to install and are sturdy. Love being able to have easily movable drapery without fussing with cords.

Needed a replacement inner finial, and ordered a couple additional for "backup". There are two versions of the finial (inner and outer), and we initially received one (out of three) that was the incorrect version.

The company was immediately responsive to my email to customer service, and a replacement arrived within just a few days.
